Apple opened Indonesia’s fourth Apple Developer Academy in Tuban, Bali, today. For the uninitiated, Apple Developer Academy is the tech giant’s initiative to help developers, students, and entrepreneurs gain invaluable skills to delve into the growing iOS app industry.
Over the course of nine months, students will engage in a comprehensive program covering the essentials of coding, design, marketing, and other key areas, with a special focus on artificial intelligence. This academy is designed to both challenge and inspire participants, motivating them to develop innovative apps that tackle issues on personal, local, and global levels. The ultimate goal is to empower students to make a meaningful, positive difference in the world.
The inaugural cohort at the Developer Academy in Bali brings together a diverse group of learners, ranging in age from 18 to 56, and representing 32 cities across Indonesia—many of whom are from Bali. To foster cross-cultural exchange, this campus is also the first in Indonesia to welcome international students, with participants joining from 11 different countries around the world.
