Woman’s football to be included in future Football Manager games

Sports Interactive (SI) and Sega Europe announced that they have started work on a multi-year project to bring women’s football into its iconic Football Manager (FM) series.

FM is the world’s leading football management simulation game with more than 50 countries to manage in and a database of over 800,000 players and staff.

There will not be a standalone women’s football management simulation, according to SI. Instead, women’s football will be fully incorporated into FM’s world. You, as a manager, will able to take control of either men’s or women’s clubs and move between them seamlessly.

However, there has not been a definitive date for when the project will be completed. But SI’s intention is to
incorporate the women’s game as soon as realistically possible.

SI said that its development team is committed to ensuring that women’s football is represented as authentically as possible.

With the level of realism and attention to detail that the FM series is renowned for. SI said it will not announce a launch date until these standards have been met.
