Apple’s rumoured AirPods 3 not coming until Q3 this year

Despite the various leaks and rumours saying that the upcoming Apple AirPods 3 true wireless in-ear headphones will be launched during a virtual event to be held on Mar 23, its availability might not be so soon as expected.

Prominent and respected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a great track record in predicting upcoming Apple products, said that the AirPods 3 is still in development and will not be mass produced until Q3 this year.

Thus, we might not see the AirPods 3 being introduced anytime soon. In fact, there are also no news and indications whether the much-rumoured Mar 23 Apple event will even happen. Though, there have been times Apple just released press releases to launch products.

According to previous reports, the AirPods 3 is supposed to be similar to the AirPods Pro in terms of design. But it will not come with ear tips and lacks active noise cancellation technology found in AirPods Pro.
