PRISM+ NanoBot Elite AI – Yay or Nay?

If you have ever spent your weekend vacuuming pet fur, wiping up random crumbs or mopping up sticky kitchen floors, the PRISM+ NanoBot Elite AI might feel like the kind of home upgrade that genuinely makes life easier. I tried it out in my small apartment and was surprised by how quickly it blended into my routine. It felt less like a gadget and more like a quiet helper that just… gets the job done while I went about my day.

Design and Setup

The NanoBot Elite AI arrived looking sleek and purposeful. The matte black finish looks pretty modern and sits nicely in a corner without fighting the rest of the furniture. The robot is low enough to slip under most sofas, which is a win for those of us who know how much dust hides under there.

Setting it up was simple. Plug in the base, place the robot on the charger, download the PRISM+ Connect app and let it do its first map. Thanks to its combination of LiDAR and the AI camera, the robot completed a map of my flat in under ten minutes. The app then allowed me to separate rooms, set zones and create cleaning schedules. Selecting “living room only” after dinner or “bedroom before bedtime” became very easy.

Vacuuming

The suction power tops out at 18,000 Pa and it really shows. Pet fur, hair and fine dust were consistently picked up from both tiles and rugs. After a week, the floors simply felt cleaner and less dusty.

Mopping

The base station features a 4 L clean-water tank and a 3.5 L dirty-water tank, meaning fewer trips to refill or empty – helpful in a busy household. The robot uses hot water to wash its mop pads and dries them automatically in the base. This was one of my favourite features because mop pads tend to smell if they stay damp. My kitchen tiles came out looking fresher and there were no streaks left behind – which is a relief.

Navigation with AI Camera

This was the feature that made the biggest real-life difference. The AI camera helps it identify objects like cables, slippers and pet bowls. Instead of dragging things around or getting tangled, the robot avoided them smoothly. For someone whose home is always a little “lived in”, this made a big impact.

Noise and Maintenance

I personally think that the noise level was acceptable. It was noticeable but never disruptive, especially during daytime cleaning. The auto-empty dust bag is estimated to hold up to about two months of debris depending on usage. Maintenance feels minimal so far.

Experience

Once I started scheduling the NanoBot Elite AI daily, I noticed I was vacuuming far less often. It took care of the random fur tumbleweeds and kitchen crumbs before they became a problem. I also liked that it rarely got stuck, which is something my older robot vacuum struggled with constantly.

The only thing to note is that the base station needs its own corner. It is not huge, but it is not tiny either. Once you find the right spot, though, it blends in nicely.

Yay or Nay?

Yay if you:

  • Want a robot vacuum and mop that manages most cleaning without supervision
  • Have pets or hair-heavy households
  • Like the idea of AI helping to avoid cables and common obstacles
  • Prefer a system that is low-maintenance with auto-emptying and mop washing
  • Live in a flat where cleaning is needed daily

Nay if you:

  • Want the cheapest option
  • Only need basic vacuuming without mopping
  • Do not have space for a larger base station
  • Prefer deep smart home integrations outside of the PRISM+ ecosystem
