As its name implies, the Logitech G Pro X Superlight is a super lightweight wireless gaming mouse designed for esports.
Despite weighing only 60g, it features Logitech’s most powerful gaming mouse sensor, the Hero 25K sensor with a resolution of up to 25,000 dots per inch (DPI). This gives it a response rate of up to 1 millisecond and a maximum speed of up to 400 inches per second.

It connects wirelessly via a 2.4GHz USB dongle or you can opt for the wired micro-USB connection. It also supports Logitech PowerPlay wireless charging mouse mat ($199).
DESIGN
Available in black (unit reviewed) and white, the G Pro X Superlight is pretty plain. It has only five buttons – left click, right click, scroll wheel as well as side back and forward.
While five buttons seem a tad little compared to its hefty price tag, I think very few gamers ever use more than that. Especially those playing FPS games.
It has an almost symmetrical shape. But its side buttons are sited on its left making it more suitable for right handers.
At its bottom, there is wireless dongle storage area hidden under a circular removable panel. But you can replace this panel with another panel with the smoother PTFE (chemical name for Teflon) foot, which is included in the box.
I end up using the PTFE panel, as you can glide the mouse much faster and smoother in my experience.

There are also grip tapes for you to paste on the two main click buttons and the sides of the mouse. Logitech even includes a cloth wipe for you to prep the mouse for the grip tape installation. I am not a fan, but some might like it this way.
PERFORMANCE
The G Pro X Superlight is seriously light. And I mean, really really light when you consider that it has to have a wireless module inside.
It offers a comfortable grasp, whether you are using palm grip or claw grip. Thus, whether you are playing FPS or RPG, this mouse gives you super speed and responsiveness.
In addition, I am pleasantly surprised by the lack of lag when using the wireless option. It became my mode of choice.
Of course, if you have the PowerPlay mouse mat ($199), you can have the best of both worlds as you don’t have to worry about running out of battery.
On the downside, there is no RGB lighting. And it uses a proprietary locking micro-USB cable that offers prevent unintended disconnections. In this day and age, I think a USB-C port would be more convenient.
The biggest quirk is the lack of a DPI button to change the sensitivity of the mouse. You can only use the G Hub software to do so.
BATTERY LIFE
It is said to last 70 hours on a full charge. And I think it sounds about right from my experience with the mouse.
VERDICT
The Logitech G Pro X Superlight might be quite expensive and the use of micro-USB port is questionable. But in terms of design, responsiveness and performance, there is almost no parallel. Plus, you probably cannot get any pro-grade wireless gaming mouse that is lighter than this.
