Performance with M3 chip
For creatives, especially those always on-the-go, this will be a game changer. The M3 chip is an upgrade from the previous-generation models, and powers up to 35% faster workflows than the iPad Air with M1. With a 9-core GPU, the new iPad Air with M3 provides up to 40% faster graphics performance as compared to M1. For the first time, M3 brings Apple’s advanced graphics architecture with support for dynamic caching, hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing to the iPad Air.

It also offers up to 4x faster performance than iPad Air with M1 for graphics-intensive rendering workflows, allowing more accurate lighting, reflections, shadows, and more. The Neural Engine in M3 is up to 60% faster for AI-based workloads – and this would mean even faster performance on the mighty iPad Air.
