Here’s a quick summary of the key features of the newly announced iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. If you missed the announcements from Apple’s It’s Glowtime event that just wrapped a few hours ago, check out our recap here.
Overall Look & Feel
The new Pro lineup features the slimmest borders of any Apple product, and comes in larger display sizes: 6.3″ on iPhone 16 Pro, and 6.9″ on iPhone 16 Pro Max. Bigger and better. The Super Retina XDR displays with Always-On and ProMotion will help you feel more productive, any day. The new design sports an improved heat dissipation hardware, and amped up efficiency for up to 20% better sustained performance.
Apple Intelligence
Similar to iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, Apple Intelligence powers the iPhone 16 Pro lineup by drawing from personal context to help optimise your daily tasks. With Private Cloud Compute, you can be reassured that your privacy and data security is protected by Apple.
Camera Functions
Powered by A18 Pro, the improved camera system features a new 48MP Fusion Camera with a more efficient quad-pixel sensor and Apple Camera Interface – which comes with 4K120fps video recording on Dolby Vision.
Cinematic Visuals
With 4K120fps, you can now capture Cinematic Slo-Mo or Video mode, adjust the playback speed in the Photos app with different options to achieve your desired effects. In tandem with the new image signal processor of A18 Pro, you can even do frame-by-frame cinema-quality color grading for 4K120fps in Dolby Vision. Both Pro models come with 4 new studio-quality mics for whichever effect you want to achieve.
