Xiaomi finally launching its premium 4K smart TVs in Singapore

For the first time, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi will be bringing its premium 4K smart TVs into Singapore.

There will be two models of Xiaomi 4K smart TVs – Mi TV P1 and Mi TV Q1 – available for pre-order next month here.

All the models are based on Android TV platform and come with popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video and Youtube come installed. Both P1 and Q1 series come with a Bluetooth remote control with dedicated Netflix and Prime Video buttons.

Not to mention, you can also easily project content and games from your smartphones or tablets using Chromecast and Miracast. In addition, these smart TVs come with built-in Google Assistant allowing it to be the hub of your smart home.

Mi TV P1 Series
The Mi TV P1 series will be available in three LED display in sizes of 32 inches, 43 inches and 55 inches. All three variants offer MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology, allowing the TV to reproduce incredibly smooth and lag-free visuals.

The 43-inch (S$599) and 55-inch (S$799) variants offer Dolby Vision support with 4K ultra high-definition (UHD) resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), while the 32-inch (S$329) variant only offers high-definition (1,366 x 768 pixels) resolution.

The 55-inch P1 variant further enhances visuals with HDR10+, which allows for higher dynamic range and image quality to be more vivid and life-like.

In addition, both 43-inch and 55-inch variants feature an embedded microphone on the display panel itself. This allows you to command the TV and any smart appliances connected to it completely hands-free.

You can pre-order the Mi TV P1 series from June 6 but no word of its availability.

Mi TV Q1 Series
On the other hand, the flagship Mi TV Q1 comes with a 75-inch QLED 4K ultra high-definition display.

Blessed with quantum dot technology, the 75-inch edge-to-edge display has a high 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. It also supports Dolby Vision as well as HDR10+.

The Q1’s QLED display is equipped with 192 zones of full array dynamic local dimming to achieve a stellar contrast ratio of 10,000:1. It also offers 100 per cent NTSC colour range with 1.07 billion colour variations and 1,024 different colour shades.

Furthermore, the Mi TV Q1 features a 30W stereo speaker system comprising six speakers – two tweeters and four woofer – for crystal clear sound. To finish the package, the Mi TV Q1 comes with a sleek design and premium metal finish.

While its competitors will have 5-digit pricing, the Mi TV Q1 has a tantalising price of only S$2,499. It can be pre-ordered from June 6, with availability unknown.
