Samsung’s customisable Bespoke refrigerators will be available in Singapore from end-Sep

Why get an off-the-shelf refrigerator when you can get Samsung’s customisable Bespoke fridge?

The new Bespoke refrigerator lineup can be customised in a plethora of ways depending on your home and your design tastes.

It is available in three basic models of the Bottom Mount Freezer (fromS$1,899), the 1-Door Flex (from S$1,999) and the all-new 4-door Flex (from S$5,199). You can mix and match these three models to fit into your upcoming BTO flat or current house with an array of colours.

The 4-Door Flex will come with Samsung’s signature FlexZone, an independently controlled compartment that can be toggled between refrigerator to freezer mode. It is also equipped with a Flex Crisper compartment for preserving the freshness of fresh products such as meat and fish via two temperature settings.

The Bottom Mount Freezer has a bottom freezer compartment and a top fridge compartment, while the 1-Door Flex is a single compartment that can be switched between being a freezer or a normal fridge. All the Bespoke models feature a Metal Cooling plate that maintains the coldness better than conventional fridges.

Due to its versatility, the Bespoke refrigerators can be perfectly aligned and flushed into any kitchen cabinetry with minimal installation gaps for a seamless appearance.

In Singapore at the moment, you can only choose the door panels of the Bespoke models from a palette of five colours – Glam White, Glam Pink, Glam Navy, Satin Sky Blue and Satin Gray – in either matte (Satin Glass) or glossy (Glam Glass) finishes.

But in South Korea, the door panels of the Bespoke model is fully customisable with any designs. And Samsung Singapore has said they are working hard to make this happen in Singapore as well.

To highlight this personalisation potential of the Bespoke series, Samsung Singapore has worked with local artists Candice Phang, Michael Mindflyer and Tan Zi Xi as well as high-end furnishing retailer Commune and interior design firm Rooot Studio, to create artwork for the fridge doors at launch.

From Sep 27 to Oct 24, you can visit TANGS Singapore to view these exclusive designs by Candice Phang, Michael Mindflyer, Tan Zi Xi, and Rooot Studio. Commune will showcase its Bespoke design at its Millenia Walk store.

If you feel inspired by them, you can also design the artwork for the Bespoke fridges and stand a chance to win a Bespoke fridge. For more information about this contest, visit here.

The Samsung Bespoke refrigerators will be in Singapore from end-Sep on Samsung Online Store and major retailers like Lazada and Shopee.
