Every week, there are plenty of new products emerging in the consumer tech realm. At times, it becomes impossible to cover all of them. Here, we pick the new products of the week and deliver them to you in bite-size format.

DJI Mavic 3
From S$3,129, available in Lazada and Shopee

The new DJI flagship drone is here with the Mavic 3. It features a Hasselblad camera with a 4/3-inch CMOS image sensor and 24mm prime lens. This allows the drone to take high-resolution 20-megapixel still images and shoot videos up to 5.1K resolution at 120 frames per second.

The Mavic 3 also has a second telephoto camera with 28x Hybrid Zoom (digital + optical) for you to focus on distant objects. In addition, the drone comes with six fish-eye vision sensors and two wide-angle sensors that continuously sense obstacles in all directions to avoid them.

Seagate Star Wars Beskar Ingot Drives

Star Wars fans will be salivating at the prospect of getting Seagate’s Beskar Ingot Drives. These drives bring the iconic Star Wars “precious metal” aesthetic to the FireCuda line-up.

The special edition designs will be available in M.2 NVMe SSD, 2.5-inch SATA, and external HDD formats. Each drive resembles an ingot of Beskar, including its Imperial stamp featured prominently in the series. The SSD version comes with a sleek heatsink design, while the HDD vision has a RGB LED bar for the extra “coolness”. Details of pricing will be available closer to launch.

SteelSeries Prime Mini

The SteelSeries Prime gaming mice has the world’s first-ever optical magnetic switches in esports with its Prestige OM technology, according to its maker. Now, there is the new Prime Mini.

Featuring an ultra-lightweight and ergonomic shape with a smaller profile, the Prime Mini is 12 per cent lighter than the original but with the same lightning-fast response. It also utilises a magnetic core to ensure the clicks feel as good as the first even after 100 million clicks.

Astell&Kern A&norma SR25 MKII
S$1,099, available in Lazada and Shopee

The second-generation of Astell&Kern’s A&norma SR25 portable high-resolution music player is here. Apart from improved audio quality, the SR25 MKII features a 4.4mm headphone jack to deliver enhanced dynamic range, bass response and a wider soundstage. This is in addition to its 2.5mm (balanced) and 3.5mm (unbalanced) headphone jacks.

It also comes with a new Bluetooth Sink function for easy connection to an external Bluetooth device. In addition, the SR25 MKII supports native playback of DSD256 and 32-bit/384KHz PCM high-resolution audio as well as high-definition Bluetooth wireless codecs such as LDAC and aptX HD.

Beyerdynamic Blue Byrd (2nd Generation)
