McDonald’s Singapore sponsors 2,000 BTS Meals for Changi Airport frontline staff

The highly-anticipated McDonald’s BTS Meal is launched today. And McDonald’s Singapore is taking the occasion to send a rather big gesture of appreciation to the frontline workers at Changi Airport Zone 1 with 2,000 free BTS Meals.

Mr Benjamin Boh, general manager of McDonald’s Singapore, said: “We would like to spare a thought for our Changi Airport community who have displayed admirable grit and dedication in keeping the airport running 24/7 in this current climate. We salute these everyday heroes and understand it has not been easy for them.”

The BTS Meal consists of a 9-piece Chicken McNuggets, large French Fries, large drink along with two new dipping sauces – Sweet Chili and Cajun – picked by the K-pop group BTS themselves.

Changi Airport staff members are able to redeem the BTS meal today at the Transit Transfer Counter A, B, C and D in Zone 1 from 10am – 1pm and from 5pm to 8pm. For the rest of Singapore, you can only get the BTS Meal from McDelivery.

Mr Albert Lim, Changi Airport Group’s senior vice-president of airport operations management, said: “We are deeply encouraged by their (McDonald’s Singapore) one Changi spirit of togetherness and unity, which continues to keep our airport workers’ spirits up and Changi going even during these toughest of times.”
