Huawei has just unveiled a range of products during its Asia Pacific Autumn Product Launch this evening. The line-up introduced includes the Huawei Watch GT 3 Series smartwatch, Huawei MateBook 14s laptop and Huawei nova 9 smartphone.

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Series smartwatch features a super sleek futuristic design with minimal lugs, large lenses as well as two case sizes of 42mm and 46mm.

For the Huawei MateBook 14s, it sports a sleek and portable 1.43kg body frame that comes with a 14-inch 3:2 display. The display has a resolution of 2,520 x 1,680 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate for an immersive visual experience.

Powered by the 11th-generation Intel Core processors, the Huawei MateBook 14s can easily handle any of your intensive tasks or multi-tasking needs. Furthermore, with the soon-to-be-available beta version of PC AppGallery, you can access and use mobile applications on the MateBook 14s itself. As such, you can play your favourite mobile games or application on the laptop’s bigger display.

And if you still prefer a smartphone, there is the new Huawei nova 9. It is equipped with a rear quad-camera system with a 50-megapixel (MP) Ultra Vision wide-angle camera, a 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera.

In front on its 6.57-inch 120Hz OLED display, there is a 32MP camera for your self portrait needs. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 778G 4G chip with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

However, the Huawei nova 9 smartphone will not be launched in Singapore. Local pricing and availability of the Watch GT 3 Series and MateBook 14s will be released at a later date.

During the presentation, Mr Kevin Ho, chief operating officer of Huawei Consumer Business Group, shared that Huawei has continued “to strengthen its efforts in consumer business and has gained 730 million users worldwide to date, and connected with more than 1 billion devices”. This is quite a feat considering the industry headwinds and ramifications from the US-China trade war.
