Huawei launches Band 6, an $88 fitness tracker with two-week battery life

Huawei will be launching its latest fitness tracker, the Band 6, in Singapore on Apr 15.

The Huawei Band 6 features a 1.47-inch AMOLED colour touchscreen display (368 x 194 pixels) to show all the vital health information, such as steps taken and heart rate.

Its fibreglass-reinforced polymer watch case comes with a skin-friendly silicone strap and weighs a mere 18g altogether. So, you might not even know that you are wearing it.

In addition, this nifty device is said to support 96 workout modes, including 11 main workouts like outdoor running and cycling, for data monitoring and analysis. There are also 85 customised modes, such as ball games and dancing, to track your different physical activities.

Despite offering all-day heart rate and blood oxygen level monitoring, the Band 6 is said to last for two weeks on a full charge. And Huawei claims that the fitness tracker can last two days with only 5 mins of charging.

Available in three colours of black, pink and green (releasing later this month), the Huawei Band 6 will start selling on Apr 15 for only S$88 in major consumer electronic stores and online e-retailers like Lazada and Shopee.
