Huawei’s new open-fit true wireless in-ear headphones, FreeBuds 4, will be available in Singapore from 24 Jul.
The FreeBuds 4 is the industry’s first pair of open-fit earbuds to use dual-microphone active noise cancellation (ANC) technology, according to its maker. This ensures the microphones pick up ambient noise with greater accuracy to better cancel them out.
Furthermore, the FreeBuds 4 is also the first pair of open-fit earbuds to utilise Adaptive Ear Matching (AEM) for its noise cancellation. It works by the earbuds automatically detecting the user’s ear shape and thereby determining the optimum noise cancellation setup for that user.
Armed with 14.3mm dynamic drivers, the FreeBuds 4 offers greater bass compared to its predecessor. In addition, the AEM allows the earbuds to automatically optimise the audio output effect for consistent and high resolution audio quality based on the user’s ear shape and wearing condition.
When ANC is turned off, the FreeBuds 4 has a battery life of 4 hours with an additional 18 hours provided by the charging case. Available in two colours of white and silver, each earbud weighs only 4.1g with the charging case tipping the scales at only 38g. As such, users might not even know they are wearing the FreeBuds 4.
Not to mention, the FreeBuds 4 is priced at a pocket-friendly S$198 (available on Lazada and Shopee). Pre-order for the FreeBuds 4 starts tomorrow till 23 Jul with a special promotion of $20 discount and a free protective casing (while stocks last).
