Hogwarts Legacy, the most highly-anticipated game of 2023, is nearly here. This new video game is set in the magical school of Hogwarts in the 1800s, around 100 years prior to the events in the Harry Potter books. Players control a fifth-year student at Hogwarts and embark on a dangerous journey to uncover the hidden truth of the Wizarding World. The game features iconic locations like Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and the Forbidden Forest, as well as Hogwarts Castle. Despite facing constant controversy, the game is already breaking sales records on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Unless it is a huge disappointment, it is poised to be one of the biggest games of 2023 by a wide margin.

The voice cast includes Simon Pegg, Lesley Nicol, and Luke Youngblood. Despite its controversies, Hogwarts Legacy is already breaking sales records on PS5 and Xbox Series X and is expected to be one of the biggest games of 2023.
Gamers who have pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition on console or PC can experience the game 72 hours earlier than its February 10th release date. This early access is available for those who have pre-ordered the physical or digital versions of the game.
The immersive role-playing game will be released on 10 February on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC on both Steam and Epic Games store respectively. Hogwarts Legacy will also be available on PS4 and Xbox One on April 4th, and on Nintendo Switch on July 25th. This is the first major Harry Potter video game since Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011.
Globally for PC players, the 72 Hour Early Access period will begin on February 7th at 10 AM PST/ 1PM EST. That’s February 8 Tuesday at 2AM for us SGT folks.
