It is now easier than ever to have that conversation with a foreign friend, or understand what the Korean ajumma is telling you.

Communications Made Better with Galaxy AI
Live Translate
Imagine having to make a reservation at your favourite restaurant while vacationing in Korea, but they only take calls and strictly speak Korean. In normal circumstances, you’d probably just wing it and see if you could score a seat in-person. With Live Translate, you’d now be able to converse with the Korean ajumma over the phone – well, at least you’d both understand each other. Two-way voice and text translations of phone calls happens completely on device in the native Call app. Do note that there is at least a 2-3 seconds lag time as the AI analyse, translate, and pump out the information back to you in your native language via audio and text. Interpreter
If you’re trying to have a live conversation with someone else who doesn’t speak your native language well, you can amp up the comfort level of that conversation by tapping on Interpreter. Live conversations can be translated in real-time on a split-screen view that makes for easier communications with someone else. You can choose to position this split-screen view either opposite each other, or side-by-side. One thing to note is to ensure you enunciate your words clearly!
This works without cellular data or Wi-Fi, and could even work when your Galaxy S24 is on Airplane Mode.

Chat Assist
You know how sometimes when you’re super busy and unable to craft a tonally accurate text to a workmate and end up sending a really crude ‘Ok noted’? Well, Chat Assist is here to help you massage conversational nuances into your responses to ensure you capture the right tone in every chat.

Note Assist
Samsung Notes is outfitted with a huge improvement in Note Assist. This function helps to leverage on device AI to quickly generate summaries, create templates that help organise notes with pre-made formats, and and helps you take notes quickly during meetings.

Transcript Assist
Voice recordings can be tricky to transcribe, especially if there are multiple speakers. Transcript Assist once again, leverages on device AI and Speech-to-Text technology to easily transcribe, summarise and translate recordings.

Galaxy AI x Google
Circle to Search with Google
Samsung teamed up with Google to debut an intuitive and gesture-driven feature: Circle to Search with Google. By pressing a holding the home button, one can circle, highlight, scribble on, or tap anything on Galaxy S24’s screen to get smart and helpful search results. Imagine how easy it would be to find out what sneakers someone is wearing on the streets without having to initiate awkward conversation.
Achieve Epic Creative Heights with Galaxy AI
ProVisual Engine
Powered by a holistic suite of AI=powered tools, Galaxy S24 series’ ProVisual Engine can transform image capturing abilities in a huge way. Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Quad Tele System is now fitted with a brand new 5x optical zoom lens that works with the 50MP sensor to preserve optical-quality performance at zoom levels from 2x to 10x – all thanks to Adaptive Pixel Sensor. Images captured at 100x can also show clear results with enhanced digital zoom – imagine using the S24 Ultra at the next Coldplay / Taylor Swift concert.
Galaxy AI Editing
What’s really cool about capturing HD shots on your S24 series, is being able to tap on Galaxy AI editing tools to remaster any image on your phone. Something called the Edit Suggestion leverages Galaxy AI to suggest the most suitable tweaks for each image.
Generative Edit grants you more creative control and freedom by helping to fill in parts of an image background with generative AI even after you choose to remove something in the background. When you need to adjust a slightly askew object in an image, AI helps you adjust the position of the subject. Generative AI then constructs a perfectly blended background in its original spot. Wow.
Instant Slow-mo
If you ever want to scrutinise a small detail in any video (fast moving or not), the new Instant Slow-mo can generate additional frames to smoothly slow down those frames.
