During Apple’s recent ‘Scary Fast’ event, the whole M3 chip family got introduced. Everything from the M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. So today we’re having first looks at the all-new Space Black M3 Max 14” Macbook Pro!
If you don’t already know, the Space Black is only available for the M3 Pro and M3 Max variants of the Macbook Pro in both 14” and 16” sizes. With the black braided Magsafe cable to USB-C, to make sure everything is matchy matchy.
Special Anodisation Process
According to Apple, the Space Black has undergone a special anodisation process that will help reduce fingerprints on the surface. So far it looks really promising, with no fingerprints being left behind even after touching it with my perpetually oily fingers.
Connectivity
Ports for the Macbook Pro M3 Pro and M3 Max comes with Magsafe charging, a dedicated HDMI port, SDXC slot and a total of 3 Thunderbolt 4 ports that supports charging, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4. The Liquid Retina XDR display goes all the way up to 600 nits, perfectly matching your Studio Display if you’re using the Macbook Pro with one.
With the game-changing graphics performance that the M3 Pro and M3 Max is capable of – the reality of Apple Gaming is something that I’m really excited for.
