During its Ubisoft Forward live show for E3 2021, the game company announced several new game titles that will be released this year and 2022.
The 6 new titles include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Riders Republic, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Far Cry 6, Just Dance 2022, Rocksmith+, and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
Mario + Rabbids Spark of Hope was actually accidentally leaked on Nintendo website. It is the sequel to the highly successful 2017 Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, one of the best Nintendo Switch games at that time.
Once again, Mario, Rabbid Peach and their friends will be back for an epic journey to restore order as Cursa, a mysterious and malevolent entity, twists the planets with its evil influence.
They will explore these incredible worlds and fight enemies in innovative combat system that mixes turn-based tactics and real-time movements. The game is expected to be released sometime next year.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction is a brand-new tactical co-op PvE experience. Players will join the REACT Team and assemble a player squad (1 to 3) of well-known and beloved operators from Rainbow Six Siege to fight against a mysterious threat.
It will be available worldwide on Sep 16 this year on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4), and the Ubisoft Store on Windows PC.
Far Cry 6 is an open-world first-person shooter that plunges players into the heart of a modern-day guerrilla revolution. Players will take up the cause to liberate Yara as Dani Rojas, a local military drop out. Dani tries to escape the island but ends up joining revolutionary group, Libertad.
You will get to experience the adrenaline and chaos of “resolver” guerrilla combat. It will be released on Oct 7, 2021 on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, as well as Epic Store and the Ubisoft Store for Windows PC.
Just Dance 2022, the latest instalment of the number 1 music video game franchise of all time, will launch Nov 4 this year on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will offer you more ways to dance with 40 new songs and universes as well as new collaboration with singer and choreographer Todrick Hall.
Rocksmith+ is a new subscription service that teaches players how to play guitar and bass through their favourite songs. It is compatible with acoustic, electric, and bass guitars and offers thousands of songs in different genres for you to learn. It is expected to launch this fall on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
In addition, the new Riders Republic game is a massive multiplayer outdoor sports playground – launching in Sep 2 – where you can experience the thrill of outdoor sports in an open world with some breathtaking US landscapes such as Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley and Mammoth Mountain.
You can roam freely with your friends in a huge and vibrant open world, where they can compete and nail crazy moves through an exciting range of sports such as biking, skiing, snowboarding, wingsuiting and rocket wingsuiting.
In other news, Ubisoft also unveiled a new first-person action adventure game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. In this new, standalone story, you play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora.
You will get to explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, while pushing back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.
