Drone maker DJI opens new retail store in VivoCity

Many brick-and-mortar retail stores have been closing due to the devastating impact of Covid-19 pandemic. But civilian drone maker DJI has bucked the trend and opens a new experiential store in VivoCity today.

Covering an area of 110 square metres or roughly the size of a 5-room HDB flat, the store will also be Singapore’s first and only DJI official service centre that caters to all its product servicing needs.

Located on the 2nd floor of VivoCity, there are three interactive areas for you to test out DJI’s products. An Experimental Area allows you to test out the latest DJI products before deciding to buy them.

With the full range of DJI demo sets available in-store, you can take one of DJI’s drones for a test flight at a specially-designated Drone Flying Area on the 3rd floor of VivoCity.

There is also a Learning Area that allows you and your family to deep dive into robotics and programming languages such as Scratch, Python and Swift, through special DJI educational machines like the RoboMaster S1 and Tello EDU.

To celebrate the store’s opening, there will be a 5 per cent storewide discount till 11 Jul. And every purchase will come with a complimentary exclusive DJI gift box containing DJI merchandise (worth S$59.90).

In addition, there are special offers for you to enjoy. For instance, the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 gimbal will be going at S$99 (usual price S$129), while the DJI Mavic Mini drone will be selling at S$399 (usual price S$449).

The new DJI store is located at the second level (#02-154/155) of VivoCity and opens daily from 11am to 8pm.
