Audio brand EPOS officially launches in Singapore

EPOS, Demant Group’s premium enterprise and gaming audio brand, has made its debut in Singapore.

Until March 2020, EPOS was Sennhesier Communications for 16 years before being demerged and becoming an independent company owned by Demant.

Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, EPOS operates in more than 30 countries worldwide and the Singapore launch is in line with the brand’s continued commitment to offer premium audio solutions for the region’s new-age professionals.

“We are thrilled to launch EPOS in Singapore and look forward to supporting the region’s hybrid work professionals with superior audio and video solutions,” said Mr Seah Hong Kiat, vice-president, Enterprise Solutions, Asia Pacific for EPOS Audio.

The line between enterprise and consumer is becoming blurred due to the Covid-19 pandemic. More professionals need quality audio products for web conferences that might mean a deal completed or lost depending on whether the clients can hear the sales pitch clearly. EPOS intends to solve that issue with its Adapt, Expand and Impact series.

The Adapt series offers portable solutions that enable users to work flexibly with wireless functionality and hassle-free device compatibility. For example, the Adapt 260 is a pair of on-ear, double-sided Bluetooth headset with USB dongle that allows you to be connected and heard in your office or at home.

On the other hand, the Expand series offers collaboration tools for virtual collaboration to ensure a seamless teamwork experience. For instance, the Expand Vision 3T is a video conferencing system that is simple to set up and easy to use. So you spend more time talking ideas than fixing connectivity issues.

Finally, the Impact series is catered more to solve call centres’ issues for office workers to communicate while not comprising on comfort. Take the Impact SDW 5061 for instance, it is a plug-and-play solution equipped with two-microphone noise cancellation system and own-voice detection technology.

Started out with dreams to become a street photographer, Trevor Tan somehow became a tech journalist with over 16 years of consumer tech experience. Maybe he plays too much video games and buys too many new gadgets.
