Apple is holding its next big event in September and we’re HERE for it. There’s a lot of speculations going around what’s to be released but as usual Apple’s only official clue is the invite being sent out.
The Apple event is set to take place on 12 September 2023, at 10AM PT, which translates to 13 September 2023 1AM SGT. The invite interestingly says “Wonderlust” and it will be taking place live from Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Wonder what does ‘Wonderlust’ means…
Speculations
iPhone 15 Lineup
Pretty psyched for the iPhone 15 lineup this time round – it’s widely speculated that there’d be color-matched braided USB-C to USB-C cables to perfectly complement the iPhone colors; a step up for sure, from the previously standard issue. Rumor has it that the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may or may not come in several colorways including Coral for iPhone 15 & iPhone 15 Plus, and Dark Blue for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Looking at the Apple logo in the invitation – we’re pretty excited for the very likely Dark Blue colorway for the iPhone. We shall see!
USB-C
We’re definitely looking forward to welcoming USB-C ports for the iPhones. This might not come as the biggest surprise especially with the incoming regulations from the European Union. That being said – this is going to make things much easier without us having to fumble for different charging cables in future..
Periscope Lens
One of the most exciting speculations that we’re extra hyped for is the talk of the introduction of periscope lens. How wonderful it would be if the new iPhones came equipped with more than 3x zoom, especially for videos. Can’t wait to go for live shows / concerts and zoom all the way in to our favourite artistes in HD!
AirPods
We’re also hopeful for an Airpods update, even though according to past patterns, we might not be due for one yet. If they do decide to treat us this year, we’re definitely excited to see better audio quality and noise cancellation, along with battery life.
iOS17
With all of the hardware upgrades and excitement, it will only be as good as the OS running in the background. With the official release of the iOS17 just around the corner, we can’t wait to have iOS 17 officially released for use, along with all the cool features that comes packed with it. We’re already on iOS 17 Public Beta and let’s just say, it’s pretty cool.
Again, these are all just speculations and the things that we are looking forward to the most. The only way to be sure is to tune in to the live event online and stay glued to our coverage for the most exciting Apple event of the year!
