Runner Game App: DreamChaser

Two brilliant and young Vietnamese developers, Phuc Pham and Hiep Tran, are the brains behind DreamChaser. Phuc dropped out of university to pursue game development professionally, juggled a full-time job and ran his YouTube channel where he shares his game development journey with over 30K subscribers – all while developing DreamChaser. DreamChaser is Vietnam’s first historical pixel-art endless runner game, and tells the story of escaping the pressures of urban life to return to a place of tranquility.

“When I uploaded the video about DreamChaser to YouTube, a large number of users started playing it. That’s also when I received a massive amount of bug reports from users,” Duy recalls. “I was overwhelmed with joy, excitement and the headache of dealing with those bugs. But seeing players enjoy our game and create their own content based on our work is incredibly fulfilling.”
