Armored Core VI: Fires Of Rubicon – Features, Editions, Release Date

FromSoftware, the acclaimed developer behind Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Elden Ring, has announced a new game in one of its oldest franchises: Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. The game is a collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment and promises to deliver a dynamic, fast-paced mech action game with 3D maneuverability and robust gameplay. Here’s what we know so far about this exciting title.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon Key Features

In Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, players will assemble and pilot their own mech with 3D maneuverability to move freely through three dimensional fast-paced missions. Take on difficult challenges and overwhelm your enemies with dynamic movements that make full use of ranged and melee combat. Players can enjoy a variety of actions that can only be truly realized with mechs.

The game also features extensive customization options for the mechs, allowing players to fine-tune their performance, appearance, and weapons according to their preferences and playstyles. The game will also support online multiplayer modes, where players can team up or compete with other pilots from around the world.

Story Overview

The game is set on a remote planet, Rubicon 3, where humanity discovered a new energy source that could dramatically advance its technological capabilities. However, this substance instead caused a cataclysmic event, engulfing the entire star system in flames. This disaster became known as the Burning Star System.

Almost half a century later, the same substance resurfaced on Rubicon 3, a planet now contaminated and sealed off by the catastrophe. Extra-terrestrial corporations and resistance groups fight over control of the substance, hoping to harness its power or prevent its misuse.

The player infiltrates Rubicon 3 as an independent mercenary and finds themselves in a struggle over the substance with the corporations and other factions. The player will have to make choices that will affect the outcome of the story and the fate of Rubicon 3.
