Earlier last week, Apple TV+ announced that the premiere of “BE@RBRICK” is set to launch globally on 21 Mar, Friday. The new 13-episode series, inspired by the iconic BE@RBRICK figures from MEDICOM TOY, brings to life upbeat original songs that encourage kids and families to embrace their true selves. Produced and animated by DreamWorks Animation and Dentsu Inc., the series uses the power of music to connect with audiences and deliver a positive, uplifting message.

“BE@RBRICK” tells the story of Jasmine Finch and her band as they strive to follow their dreams and motivate others to do the same. In a society where everyone’s role is decided for them, and the painted-on look you receive at graduation determines your future, things aren’t easy. Jasmine soon realizes that to create change, she and her friends will have to make it happen on their own.

The music-driven series, created with CG animation, is developed by Meghan McCarthy, a Daytime Emmy Award nominee known for her work on “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” and “Centaurworld”. She is also the showrunner, executive producer, and writer. Alex Almaguer of “TrollsTopia” is the supervising producer, with Taylor Orci (from “Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts”) as story editor and Athena Hofmann (from “Amateur”) as line producer. The voice cast includes Brianna Bryan as Jasmine, Skyla I’Lece as Holly, Isaiah Crews as Nick, Alison Jaye as Ada, and Noah Bentley as Klaus.
The series also shines with its musical contributions from Timbaland, a four-time Grammy Award-winning producer, who serves as the executive music producer. The original score is composed by Jina Hyojin An (“XO, Kitty”) and Shirley Song (“Exploding Kittens”).
