Apple just wrapped it’s fall event hours ago, and we’re excited to share all about Apple Watch Series 10. If you’re looking for a quick recap of all the announcements, head over here.
Look & Feel
The Apple Watch Series 10 sports the thinnest design yet, 10% thinner than Series 9 – with the biggest display ever. The sleek design brings a bunch of exciting new updates, so let’s dive in.
Performance & Updates
With the new S10 SiP (System in Package), the new Apple Watch Series 10 is designed for a higher level of performance, power efficiency, and of course, Apple Intelligence. In tandem with S10 SiP, the 4-core Neural Engine powers intelligent features we are so familiar with in our daily lives. From the double tap gesture, to on-device Siri, dictation, automatic workout detection, to vital safety features such as Crash Detection and Fall Detection, the possibilities with the Apple Watch Series 10 is endless.
The wide-angle OLED display allows for a faster refresh rate when Apple Watch is in always-on mode, from once a minute to once a second. The updated Smart Stack will now serve you widgets based on when and what you need, and the all-new redesigned Photos face provides a refreshing look and feel to your Watch face. The Translate app is also coming to watchOS 11.
Health & Fitness Insights
The new Vitals app will give users a quick overview of overnight health metrics to enable you to understand more about your health.
Faster Charging
With just 15 minutes of charging, you will now be able to use your Apple Watch up to 8 hours of normal daily use. If you’re pressed for time before bed, 8 minutes of charging will power your Apple Watch up to 8 hours of sleep tracking. If you’re like me, I always charge my Apple Watch while I’m preparing to go to work in the mornings. That typically takes about 30 minutes, which is approximately the time now needed to fast charge your Apple Watch to 80% battery.
Audio Playback
You can now listen to Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, and third-party apps – right from your Apple Watch through the built-in speaker. Apple Watch Series 10 deploys a new voice isolation neural network on the 4-core Neural Engine to eradicate background noise as much as possible during phone or FaceTime audio calls. This would be incredibly helpful especially if you’re constantly on the go.

Available in both aluminium and titanium finishes, Jet Black is the latest polished aluminium finish to join the family.
