This initial version of Photoshop’s beta release marks Adobe’s pioneering endeavor to deeply incorporate Firefly, with future plans to revolutionize workflows across various Adobe platforms, including Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Adobe Express.

Its beta release has been exceptionally successful, garnering over 100 million assets generated by beta users.
Since its launch, Firefly has expanded its capabilities to include vector recoloring and generative fill. Firefly stands out as the sole AI service capable of generating commercially viable and professional-quality content, purposefully designed to seamlessly integrate into creators’ workflows.
Photoshop’s Generative Fill feature is available in the desktop beta app today and will be generally available in the second half of 2023. Generative Fill is also available today as a module within the Firefly beta app.
