Apple just released visionOS 2.4 beta, which comes with a bunch of long-awaited updates to Apple Vision Pro. These updates are in early beta stages for developer testing at the moment, and will be available to the public in April.

Guest User
You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this update to drop. Apple is now making it that much easier to share your Vision Pro with others through the new Guest User feature. A prompt will pop up on your nearby iPhone or iPad with an ‘Allow Guest User’ option, when you pass your Vision Pro to someone else. Directly from your iPhone or iPad, you’d be able to select the apps that the guest can access, and initiate View Mirroring via AirPlay to seamlessly guide them through the experience. No more describing with words how they should navigate the Vision Pro without seeing what they’re seeing.
The new Guest User feature now allows a more controlled and customizable interface for guests without affecting your primary setup on the Vision Pro.

Spatial Gallery
The new Spatial Gallery app comes to Vision Pro, showcasing a huge variety of specially curated breathtaking spatial photos, videos, panoramas and more from top-tier artists, filmmakers, and brands. This further expands the immersive experiences one can have on the Vision Pro.

Ease of Control of Vision Pro
The tech giant is launching a new Vision Pro app for iPhone, which allows you to browse and queue apps or games for downloads, browse spatial content from Apple TV and Spatial Gallery and more – all without having to put the Vision Pro on. This will be available in April, and the app will appear for Vision Pro users when they update their iPhone to iOS 18.4. This app can also be downloaded from the App Store.

Apple Intelligence
Woo! Apple Intelligence comes to the Vision Pro, with Writing Tools, Image Playground, Genmoji and more features. Writing Tools will allow productivity to be taken up a notch on the Vision Pro, allowing you to quickly generate, proofread, and summarize text. Genmoji allows you to create custom emoji characters to better express yourself in messages, and the Image Playground app will allow you to push your creative boundaries even further with wacky imagery.
