Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Pad – Yay or Nay?

When travelling, it may get a tad bit messy and cumbersome to pack a ton of chargers for your electronics. Belkin’s BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Pad may be a good solution to your charging woes while on-the-go.

Three pads for Wireless Charging

I tested it in Europe, and boy was it fuss-free. The easy magnetic alignment feature made the charging of all 3 devices (iPhone, Apple Watch, and Airpods) seamless, and with up to 15W of wireless charging power, my devices were juiced up and ready to explore Europe with me in less than an hour. The LED below the earbuds charging pad allows you to know the charging status at a glance.

Get up to 15W of fast charging for your iPhone on the Qi2 pad, up to 5W of standard speed charging for AirPods on the Qi pad, and 5W from the USB-C Apple Watch Charger.

Versatility in Charging

Also, this is not your traditional Charging Pad as the Apple Watch charger can be detached and the 5W USB-C output can be used to charge other devices, saving the hassle of bringing an additional travel adaptor. The versatile Apple Watch charger can be plugged into your iPhone (with USB-C port) if you need to charge it urgently.

Compatibility

The 3-in-1 Charging Pad supports 15W fast wireless charging for Qi2-compatible devices including iPhone 13 and above, and wireless charging earbuds including AirPods.

Yay or Nay?

This helped to eradicate the need for multiple travel adaptors and reduced the waiting time to charge up my key devices, but charging all 3 devices at once only works with a strong (and high power) charging adaptor. It would be recommended to ensure that your travel adaptor can provide higher power supply. Better yet, use an adaptor with at least a 30W power supply. The compact design makes it easy to pack away, and the magnetic alignment is pretty sturdy.
