If you’re a retro gamer and you’re on the Nintendo Switch, you’re gonna want to sit down for this exciting news.
So Nintendo just dropped the bomb that a bunch of Game Boy games are coming to the Switch online service. You’re going be able to play games from the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance on the Switch, but there’s a catch for the last one.
They spent most of the presentation talking about the OG Game Boy games, then they said some Color games are coming later. And finally, they announced that Game Boy Advance games will be on the Switch, but only if you have the pricey Expansion Pack subscription.
Most of the games are ready to play right now, and if you’re worried about multiplayer, don’t be – you can just link up two Switches like you did with the old link cable and play together.
